Jennifer Potter, Senior Asset Manager

 

Jennifer Potter is the Senior Asset Manager for Specialized Property Management. Ms. Potter has over 20 years of experience in account and project management, with a focus on technology implementation. Ms. Potter has been working with Specialized since 2012, and works closely with the directors of each division and the executive team on strategic partnerships. She is primarily responsible for key client management, as well as broad-based project implementation and technology initiatives.

Prior to joining the company, Ms. Potter was the Vice President of National Accounts for the largest single-family property management company in the U.S., with over $11.4B in assets under management. She was responsible for overseeing the management of single family homes for financial institutions such as Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Wells Fargo, Chase, and HSBC, totaling over 23,000 homes in aggregate across all fifty states. Ms. Potter led the team responsible for coordinating the full life-cycle of properties. This included: onboarding new homes, tenant leasing and cash for keys, repair coordination, tenant move-out, and eviction. The team provided nationwide coverage, working closely with staff in each market to ensure contractual service levels were met and key performance goals were achieved. She was additionally responsible for all reporting and communication with the funds’ key stakeholders to ensure both operational and financial metrics were achieved. Ms. Potter oversaw the overall buildout of several funds internal processes, identifying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and organizing the department to be optimally efficient in meeting success requirements.

Prior to her experience in the property management industry, Ms. Potter spent eleven years in the banking industry managing customer service, call center operations, and internet/online banking project implementations. Her projects included all business areas, including international representation, as well as all technical areas required for the conversion, migration, storage and maintenance of customer accounts Ms. Potter was also the International Business Project Manager in the integration of two international banking communication platforms. She managed business and technical project teams both locally and abroad, and within four separate corporate entities, creating a reporting infrastructure and ensuring effective communication and successful implementation at all levels. She successfully coordinated and managed individual teams in multiple countries, implementing procedures and methodologies required to overcome multi-location and language barriers to create a cohesive team. Additionally, Ms. Potter assisted in the creation and development of the Call Center Opportunities Group (CCOG), established as a call forecasting/workforce management organization, which brought Best In Class policies and procedures to all inward call centers.

Ms. Potter received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University. She is fluent in Spanish, conversant in French and Italian, and in her spare time, she enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with her family. Ms. Potter is also committed to her community, volunteering with the National Charity League (NCL), and in philanthropic activities with her two daughters.
